Welcome to my new blog! As we start the new year, I’ll share thoughts about healthy eating and living, including links to interesting articles that describe new scientific findings, new ideas and practices that could help us lead healthier lives. As a medical researcher, I see a lot of new studies being done to determine causes of health problems and potential ways to avoid these problems. As a medical doctor who works with people with diabetes or those at risk for developing diabetes, I know how challenging it can be for patients to figure out what ideas are safe and useful. My blog is aimed at highlighting some of the newest and most useful studies and information to keep readers up to date with safe and effective ways to stay healthy.
